Ralph Waldo Emerson says, “ The earth laughs in flowers.” I say, “The earth sings in animals.” The howl of the wolf, the chirping of the birds and the songs of the whales are there to remind us that we share this world with many intelligent creatures. I'm Daniel Francisco. I am an Ecuadorian/ American watercolor artist whose inspiration to paint comes from the animals around us. I have had the pleasure of meeting many animals in my life through natural encounters and also working at a wolf sanctuary in Colorado. I create paintings that are whimsical and may even remind you of something from a story book. Currently I am a part time artist and also work with the special needs community on Maui. I believe that service to animals and humanity is what brings balance to my life and allows me to be the artist that I am today.
