I think I might be crazy, and painting is an activity that helps keep me sane, possibly. You'll have to ask my wife. I was born in Newport Beach, and I moved to Lahaina in 1973. I've been painting for a long time. I'll paint with anything I can get my hands on. I've been an art sales consultant, a gallery director, and the art education director for a non-profit that promotes art for kids. The artists that have influenced me the most are Chagall and Van Gogh because of their vision and passion. I studied classical music but am a self-taught artist. I'm blessed to have dozens of great relationships with amazing living artists who help propel my passion to create. I'm Kirk Boes and thanks for looking at my art.
