During the winter months, Maui can embrace the rousing dances and breathtaking splashes of humpback whales as they return for warmth. Going to the beach is a family pastime favorite, and my kids enjoy dunking their heads in to hear the whales sing as they swim past. Furthermore, my father is a fisherman and while we are out in the deep sea, coasting near the pod puts us in awe.
